2011 Top Texas DermatologistsPhilip Hughes, M.D. was selected again as one of the top dermatologists in Texas Monthly's 2011 "Texas Super Doctors." The complete list will be published in the upcoming December 2011 issue. Texas Super Doctors are the top physicians in their respective practice areas, selected by their peers and verified by the Key Professional Media research staff.  The Super Doctors selection process began in spring 2004 and was repeated annually, when Key Professional Media mailed a survey to more than 52,000 Texas physicians, asking them: "To whom would you refer a loved one or one of your patients for medical diagnosis and/or treatment?" After tallying their replies, the Key Professional Media research team also identified Texas doctors who had achieved special recognition from their peers or had demonstrated other indications of expertise. The researchers made sure each physician is properly licensed and has no history of disciplinary action. In the end, Key Professional Media selected a list of Texas Super Doctors in 20 specialty areas."We take great pride in the credibility of our list," says Key Professional Media publisher William White. "We are confident that we offer the most comprehensive and accurate list of top doctors in Texas." |
